About the Canadian Human Genetics Conference
The Canadian Institutes of Health Research – Institute of Genetics (CIHR-IG), in collaboration with the Canadian Gene Cure Foundation (CGCF), is pleased to sponsor the 4th Annual Canadian Human and Statistical Genetics Meeting. The Canadian Human and Statistical Genetics Meeting was built on the traditions of the past Canadian Genetic Epidemiology and Statistical meetings, and the Canadian Human Genetics Conferences. This event brings together the Canadian genetics community to exchange and advance ideas that address current issues, recent discoveries and future partnerships.
With an anticipated attendance of over 200 participants — including researchers, clinicians, and trainees — this conference offers unique mentoring, networking and collaboration opportunities. The format of the conference aims to be as intimate as possible. Sessions tailored to each community are planned as parallel tracks in the morning, while afternoon plenary sessions of broader scope will bring communities together through to poster presentations in the evening. The schedule has been designed to maximize networking and socializing opportunities. We hope will be able to join us at this exciting meeting.
